Attorney Kriss was born and raised in Rhode Island‚ conducted his undergraduate studies in Maine‚ and earned his law degree in Connecticut. The son of two small business owners‚ Attorney Kriss brings that same hardworking dedication to his practice. He has brought Krisslaw from a small practice to one of the most recognized real estate firms in New England. Operating under the credo that “no call ever goes unreturned‚” you can catch Attorney Kriss discussing all things related to residential real estate during his monthly appearances on Money Matters Radio’s highly rated Afternoon Show. Scott has also served as a contributor to Mortgage Originator Magazine.

Michael P. Krone‚ Esq.‚ Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Attorney Krone has been involved in the practice of real estate law for over 30 years. He has managed several real estate businesses and law firms and has vast experience in the title insurance industry. Attorney Krone has served as Vice President of First American Title Insurance Company and was founder and CEO of ClosingCounsel.com. He brings his experience in operations to KrissLaw in the development of new technologies and services while emphasizing customer care and satisfaction. Attorney Krone also directs the Krisslaw educational services for Realtors‚ Lenders‚ Buyers and Sellers.

Paralegals And Staff:

Krisslaw employs over 20 paralegals‚ legal assistants and staff members to assist our customers in every facet of the real estate and mortgage closing transaction. The average level of real estate experience for Krisslaw’s employees is over 10 years. Each member of the staff has only one credo in the performance of their daily duties — customer satisfaction!

Senior Attorneys:

Christopher R. Morton‚ Esq.

Attorney Morton has been with the Krisslaw since May of 2005. Born and raised in Westbrook‚ Maine he is a 1994 graduate of the New England School of Law. Chris is senior title counsel at Krisslaw and specializes in the representation of mortgage lenders‚ buyers and sellers in real estate acquisitions and financing.

David Cuttler‚ Esq.

Originally from Montreal‚ Canada‚ Attorney Cuttler received his degree in Social Sciences from Marianopolis College in 1996 then went on to obtain a BA in Psychology from Concordia University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2000. David continued his studies at New England School of Law in Boston focusing in the area of Real Estate Law. He graduated with Dean's List honors in 2005 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar that same year. David has served as counsel with Barbera&Shargel LLP in the Real Estate department before joining Krisslaw in 2008. David serves as a senior attorney specializing in buyer and seller representation and real estate closings.

Scott M. Taylor‚ Esq.

Raised in Newton‚ Massachusetts‚ Attorney Taylor joined Krisslaw in 2008. Scott graduated with honors from Lehigh University in 2002 and Suffolk University Law School in 2006. Mr. Taylor focuses on general real estate and land title matters‚ including representing buyers and sellers in purchase and sale negotiations‚ as well as representing lenders in residential real estate closings.

Melissa McCormack‚ Esq.

Melissa is the newest addition to the Krisslaw attorney staff. Mellissa was raised in Needham and graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with Dean's List Honors from Suffolk University Law School. She has practiced extensively in real estate law and has overseen all aspects of real estate transactions. Melissa joins her colleagues at Krisslaw in representing buyers‚ sellers and lenders in real estate purchase‚ sale and mortgage transactions.
